Hey everyone, so I decided to make a quick video to show everyone what Kirby got for Christmas, so you could see him in action with it. Most of the stuff he got is from Petsmart, but I recently have found that there is some really good quality/pricing dog toys at Winners (Canadian store), so I got a couple things from there as well.
Here is some pictures of them as well.
Oh yes the monkey you see on the top left that is the toy that only made it a few hours 🙂

The flexi leash is actually for Poe, but I was a bit apprehensive getting it, as these leashes are always pulling, and I have heard are not good for when you are teaching a dog to walk by your side, as the reward when he does walk by your side is a loose leash. Though I like the idea of the flexi leash for letting them explore a bit more, and as Kirby is good on leash I might use that for him.

Lea, I love the videos. I agree that it must be easier especially when you feel a long blog coming on :-). It seems like Kirby really enjoyed all of his gifts and I especially love the little jacket. It looks really durable and cozy warm. I bought Woody his first sweater a couple of days ago and he seems to really like it. We’re experiencing an unusually cold winter here in Northern CA and I thought he could use the extra layers. Poe is really cute too. What kind of dog is he? Looking forward to the coming year and more of Kirby’s (and your) adventures.
Awww, thank you so much, that was such a nice comment to read!!!! Really, really was. Oh I bet Woody looks so cute in his little sweater! Some times big dogs need them too! I hope if your at least getting a colder winter than normal it might involve some snow…maybe…perhaps?:) As for Poepoe, he is a jack russell terrier/ pomeranian mix, so if you can imagine he can be quite the handful especially when he was younger, but he’s about 8 years old now so he has calmed down some. He got shaved down a bit but usually he looks kinda like a more cartooned version of a JRT. I am looking forward to Ellie Woody and your adventures to come! 🙂
Wow, what a haul. I laughed at Kirby’s monkey only lasting a few hours…Buddy used to demolish stuffed toys in no time. I like the flexible leash, we always used one on walks. I guess Buddy would feel some independence but we were still in control. According to Cesar Milan, the act of walking your dog on a regular basis is THE best way to avoid behaviour issues. Kirby looks like a prince though 🙂
Yea, these toys, they don’t last long. Yea,I love Ceasar Millan and also think that is the main way to avoid behavioral issues. And he looks like one because he sure acts like one! Lol

Wow, I showed Kirby and his toys to Trompie. Trompie sat on my lap and as soon as the squeecky noise comes up he looks and turns his head to the side to see better. Also Kirby barking at the and kept him watching.
Wow some great toys. Video’s are great but since I’ve had this new router.I can’t see any, when my computer guy comes, he will sort it for me 🙂 Have a funtastic Saturday xx0xx

Wow, you got quite the pile of gifts! We got mostly food items which is perfect in my opinion. We don’t play that much with toys. My sister and I both have long flexi leashes and love them but they are definitely not good for training! I am an off road hound so I can do lots of exploring which makes it perfect for me.

Cute video! You have some beautiful animals. I feel like I was stingy with Bowser this year. (But he destroys EVERYTHING! Even Kong!) Does Kirby also have jaws of steel?
Yes!I mean yea he may be small but for a small dog the toys designed for his size don’t stand a chance! You should try Bowser’s on one of those Kong squeaky’s if you see one, they are real cheap and neither Kirby or Poe (also notorious for destroying toys) can’t seem to break through them. And Bowser looks like a equally spoiled little pup! 🙂 Thats the good thing about dog’s they aren’t disappointed no matter what you do at Christmas lol .Can’t wait to see more Bowser adventures!
Thanks! Brian’s mom did get a Kong squeaky toy for Bowser once. He completely chewed through the fabric outside, but I guess the squeak still remained intact. Maybe we will attempt it again! I don’t always post about Bowser, and when I do, it’s usually when he’s done something to drive me crazy! He is a spoiled one! I just couldn’t help myself everytime I took him to Petsmart just to “look around” and so Kirby could meet some other puppies, I found myself finding something else. Plus since both Kirby and Poe really only wantthe toy if the other one has it, they’re really for the both of them XD Have a good holiday as well!

I LOVES the video! I agree that post each pic individually can be a real pain sometimes, so a video can do the job of alot of pics. Plus, we gets to see Kirby in ‘action’!! We terriers are SO funny!

Oh, BTW, I love the Kong small toys too! I might be like 60lbs (don’t laugh…I’m on a diet..kinda hehehe), butts I like running around squeakin’ toys, and those small Kongs are perfect ‘mouth’ size.

Rascal is very very handsome , so everyone says, but he is very aloof, and independent, he is quite unique, but also very interesting in his ways! Thats why we love him! As for Kirby he is quite the monkey constantly needs to be entertained at this point in life, so hopefully the toys help out when mommy needs a break!…or at least a bath!
