As of late there isn’t much new in the lives of Kirby. Although his brother from another mother..literally… Poe has a sprained foot when he tried tackling our new hardwood stairs for the umpteenth time. He having Jack Russell in him mind you, refuses to be still and relax, constantly trying to aggravate his injury to the best of his ability, so has sadly mostly been confined to his crate until further notice.
Poe showing his age, has also reminded me of Poe and Kirby’s birthday which are both at the end of this month. Poe will be turning 9! And Kirby 2! It’s hard to believe that the whole time I have had Kirby pretty much has been documented throughout this blog, if nothing else it is his personal scrapbook which you have all become audience too.
So I will leave you with some pictures of this weeks little munchkins, and like always I hope you guys have an amazing week!
and here are some videos I’ve been working on, in case anyone wants to see.
Both of these videos were so interesting. I loved learning about the history of the Maltese (which I didn’t know), never knew some were as small as squirrels!
I was in awe of your fish video. I also never knew about making sure the temp of water in the cup being the same as the aquarium when you release the fish! I learn so much from your videos. Thank you!
Oh poor Poe. We hope he feels better soon.
aww they are precious.
Oh, that poor little guy!!! Such a sad sack look!! POTP comin’ your way!!
Oh, loves the pics!! that is one pawsome sentry post!! I gotta get me one of those!
Kisses,

The fish looks cuddly also.

that was interesting, now I know what “comforter dogs” means :o)
I keep slipping on what humans call ice and falling on my face. I am surprised I do not have anything hurt. Just my feelings..
Get well soon Poe xx
Get well soon Poe, cute pictures Kirby.
I love your stories and videos they come straight from your heart and always filled with love!
Get well soon Poe! Have a great weekend.
that means so much to me you have no idea π
I hope Poe gets well very soon…
Those pics are amazing, so nice..
And I particularly enjoyed the second video on the Beta Fish (Its was “Phoenix” right?)…
All my best wishes, Leah, Aquileana π
Poor Poe! Nailah had to be on bed rest for 2 months, it was a nightmare. I hope he has a speedy recovery! Also, those pictures are darling! Your pups are too cute!
Great videos Leah!! Maltese dogs are so adorable & they have such unique personalities. Love the Beta water change video. I have been debating getting a Beta. I do not think I can trust Nylablue to not turn him or her into ‘sushi’ so i think I may have to wait on getting a fish….
Kirby is going to be 2?? Wow the litle pup sure has grown up before all our eyes. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. As for Poe it sounds like a ‘time out’ is the only way to heal his paw/leg!!
Nylablue hurt her paw/leg last week & scared me out of my wits (not hard to do). After 3 days of carrying her from place to place in the apartment she stopped limping & I figured out she bruised her paw during one of her *box horse* jumps from the ground to tote to counter manouvers….she does not act like a 13 yr old cat at times….more like a 13 month old, lol…
We hope you have some Spring happening in your neck of the woods because we have none here! Had snow last nite & more on the way soon…*sighs*
Much love Sherri-Ellen & Nylablue

Thankyou for the lovely comment! Nylablue is lucky to have such a caring momma in you π
Hi Leah! I just do what I can to keep my kitty girl happy π
How is Poe doing? Give him & Kirby a kiss from me.
Sherri-Ellen & Nylablue too xoxo
Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you
relied on the video to make your point. You obviously know
what youre talking about, why waste your intelligence on just posting videos to your site when you could be giving
us something enlightening to read?
I actuallly wrote a lot that post, some people like my videos as it’s quicker to be through, and sometimes I just rather do a video then write it out. π
